Broadstream Communications, Inc. has selected Intelsat-Americas™ to support the commercial U.S. deployment of its IPTVConnect(TM) service offering. The multi-million dollar transaction will enable Broadstream to meet the growing content demand of telecommunication companies ("telcos") entering the IPTV market.
Broadstream's turnkey content delivery and management product offering reduces the overall cost and accelerates time to market for telcos offering broadcast TV services. Broadstream's IPTVConnect(TM) transport network completely centralizes the aggregation of national TV programmer content and offers over 200 video and audio channels in full digital quality.
