Former CEO of Federal Reserve Bank, Robert T. Parry, Ph.D., to Speak About "Life After Greenspan" at Breakfast Hosted by NSBN LLP

NSBN ( www.nsbn.com ) is hosting a breakfast presentation on Thursday, April 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The topics will be "Life after Greenspan: A Former Policymaker's Perspective" and an update from the City of Hope on the latest advancements in robotic surgery for prostate cancer, a disease that affects nearly 235,000 men in the United States each year.
The featured speaker will be Robert T. Parry, Ph.D. Parry served as past president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for 18 years. He also was executive vice president and chief economist of Security Pacific Corporation. Parry is currently on the board of directors at Countrywide Financial Corporation, Countrywide Bank, Janus Capital Group Inc., PACCAR Inc. and the National Bureau of Economic Research.
The speakers, both from the City of Hope Cancer Center, will be Timothy G. Wilson, M.D., Pauline & Martin Collins Family Chair in Urology, Director, Department of Urology & Urologic Oncology and Mark H. Kawachi, M.D. Director, Prostate Cancer Center, Associate Director, Prostate Cancer Program. The surgeons will speak about the new, minimally invasive da Vinci prostatectomy. This method incorporates the latest advancements in robot-assisted technology that allows surgeons to perform complex surgeries with greater visualization and precision while speeding patient recovery.
