Adomo Inc., provider of a new generation of PBX-independent voice messaging and unified communications solutions for the enterprise, today announced that Andrew "Pete" Peterson has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering, completing the Adomo executive management team. Co-founder Jens Skakkebaek, who led the company's engineering efforts through the creation of its flagship product, Adomo Voice Messaging, will now assume the role of Chief Technology Officer.
"Adomo's award-winning innovations in voice messaging and unified communications are due greatly to the strength of our technical team," said CEO Jeff Snider. "At Adomo we are setting the tone in voice messaging, delivering advanced unified communications and speech-enabled services tightly integrated with the industry's prevailing messaging technology -- Microsoft Exchange."
In conjunction with the addition of Peterson, Adomo announced the promotion of Jens Skakkebaek to Chief Technology Officer. Since co-founding Adomo in 1999, Skakkebaek led research and development of Adomo Voice Messaging through its successful launch.
"Enterprises are undergoing dramatic changes in their real-time communications infrastructure, driven by the adoption of converged networks and the integration of presence information into the fabric of collaborative applications," said Snider. "Jens' appointment to CTO is in keeping with the remarkable technological vision and skill he has brought to the foundation of Adomo, and will ensure that we continue to deliver applications that anticipate customer needs."
Skakkebaek brings more than 14 years of experience in research and development to Adomo. He holds M. "The products Adomo has announced in a very short period reflect the vision we are cultivating for the next generation of unified communications. With industry developments such as VoIP, SIP and presence-enabled applications, we see a growing requirement for a flexible voice and messaging platform in the enterprise," said Skakkebaek. "Adomo is on target to be at the forefront of technology innovation, and to deliver it in a way that best fits the customer environment."
