Action Products' 2006 Educational Toys Showcasing at ASTRA Marketplace

Action Products Int'l, Inc (NASDAQ: APII), reports positive results showcasing its product lines to attendees of the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) Convention & Marketplace currently underway at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. ASTRA currently has more than 800 members nationwide and is the leading association dedicated to the education and expansion of the $4 billion US specialty toy industry. A substantial portion of Action Products' revenue is generated through dealers' activities and relationships created through participation at this Marketplace show. The annual event provides an opportunity for the company to interact with current dealers, create new retail dealers, train and showcase new products in preparation for the summer's buying season which sets the fall/winter holiday retail season.
"Many of our newest products are receiving highly favorable reactions from our established retail dealers, and new dealers we are meeting here. We have been able to meet, sign, train, and recruit retail dealers from all over the US, from as far as Alaska, as well as Canada and, for the first time, Italy (though a 200 location chain of franchised specialty toy stores). Amongst our new and updated products, many Marketplace attendees seem most excited about our new JBI: Junior Bureau of Investigation(TM) line from Curiosity Kits, our recently acquired, early confidence building I Made That(TM) brand of home projects from little hands, as well as our expanded line of pirate, gold-rush, sharks, and dinosaur themed I DIG DINOSAURS and I DIG TREASURES brand of excavation adventure(TM) kits. We have several other product lines also supplementing our company's growth.
