Xandros, the leading provider of easy-to-use Linux alternatives to Windows, has teamed up with Versora, a leading provider of Windows to Linux migration solutions, to easily transfer Windows users' desktop "personalities" to the new Xandros Desktop. Designed to enhance the consumers' digital life, the new Xandros Desktop will ship with Versora Progression Desktop, allowing users to bring along all of their settings, data and files including e-mail, photos and music when moving from Windows to Xandros. In only a few simple steps, Versora for Xandros will map and copy user specified Windows data to the appropriate locations within their new Xandros Desktop installation.
