Andrew Lane Wines to Pour Award-Winning Wines at San Francisco Magazine's Best of the Bay Event on June 29th

Andrew Lane has been invited to pour its award-winning, eclectic and fun wines in the VIP area at San Francisco magazine's premier Best of the Bay event. Andrew Dickson, winemaker at Andrew Lane, will be on hand to personally pour the winery's top Gamay Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and barrel samples of the yet to be released, Oakville-hillside Cabernet Franc.

San Francisco magazine's Best of the Bay Area party celebrates the release of its annual guide to all that makes the city the best place to live, work, and play.

The Wines

Andrew Lane Gamay Noir has the mouth-feel and velvety texture of a Pinot Noir, with a more vibrant, red fruit character. It offers a lively bouquet and flavor of fresh red cherries, red currents, with touches of strawberry and spice on the finish.

Andrew Lane's 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon showcases more fruit ripeness than traditional Napa Cabs. Its hue is deep ruby in color with aromas of bing cherries, strawberries, red roses, cacao and a slight hint of cedar. A thick mouthfeel delivers fresh flavors of berries and plum with lush, soft tannins and a delicious finish.
