IVMD Inc, a novel medical device company (OTCBB: IVME), today announced that John Gilmour has joined the team in the Inverness Laboratories.
John, who has a degree in Immunology and an MBA, is an experienced Senior Manager and Scientist with over 20 years multifaceted experience in the biotech industry. He has a proven track record in product development, forging links with academic researchers and securing funds for commercialisation ventures. He has also applied excellent scientific, general managerial and project management skills to deliver real product.
John worked previously for Axis Shield and Stirling Diagnostics, and brings a wealth of experience in creating immunoassay tests and platforms. This will add to IVMD's patented technologies and create additional opportunities.
John said, "IVMD's products cover an exciting part of the marketplace. With the business fully focussed on the next generation of Immunoassay products, my knowledge will allow the business to accelerate the route to market.
