Zaldiva Taps Amazon.com Marketplace for Additional Online Marketing and Distribution
Market Wire, August, 2006
Zaldiva(TM), Inc. (OTCBB: ZLDV) (XETRA: UZ8) (FRANKFURT: UZ8), an online retailer of new and vintage Pop Culture collectibles, is pleased to announce that it has completed setup of its Amazon.com Marketplace. The new online store is expected to increase awareness of Zaldiva and increase sales and traffic throughout the entire network of Zaldiva websites. Zaldiva's store currently has 162 listings, a mix of Novels, Trade Paper Backs and DVDs.
"The Amazon.com Marketplace makes it extremely easy to list items, it takes less than 30 seconds to post an item for sale, giving us the ability to access buyers quickly with new products," commented Robert Lees, CEO of Zaldiva. "The amount of traffic that Amazon.com generates is unbeatable. While testing the system over the last week we averaged at least one sale every 5 hours."
The company will continue to add to its online presence with Amazon.com Marketplace. "We will test market other items in the near future, like toys and other collectibles depending on our cost," added Lees. "We hope to turn the customers visiting our Amazon.com store into customers of Zaldiva.com and ZaldivaComics.com. To do this we will target advertisements and discount coupons for our other sites."
The advantages of doing business on Amazon.com for Zaldiva include:
-- Costs to Zaldiva are very advantageous to doing business with
Amazon.com Marketplace on sales of Zaldiva's products;
-- Amazon transfers earnings to Zaldiva every 2 weeks directly;
-- The system is totally automated. Zaldiva gets an email notification
every time an item sells;
-- When someone searches for an item on Amazon.com, Zaldiva will come up
in the search if we are offering that item;
-- We are able to quickly make price changes by logging into our Zaldiva
Marketplace account; a list of all of our active items is always available
and it tells us if we are the lowest price currently, and if not, what the
lowest price is right now;
-- Amazon.com Marketplace is less expensive than the ebay/PayPal
alternative, and every sale means another potential customer to Zaldiva.com
and ZaldivaComics.com. Since we are shipping the items, we get to insert
coupons/advertisements, etc.;
-- We are also in the process of setting up more auctions. We can monitor
these Auctions through the same secure account area, making administration
a one-stop operation. The price to list on Amazon.com auctions is an
average of $0.10 compared to eBay's $0.35 and up.
