Less Than Jake Announce U.S. Headlining Tour

Fresh off a successful European tour that saw them playing to an audience of 80,000 at Scotland's Reading Festival, as well as gleeful crowds on the summer-long Warped tour in the U.S., Less Than Jake are set to conquer America on a headlining tour this fall. The band will be out supporting their well-received current album "In With the Out Crowd." The tour kicks off on September 18th in Gainesville, FL, with Catch 22, The Loved Ones, Set Your Goals and New Mexican Disaster Squad.

During their notoriously high-energy, raucous live show, the band will perform songs from "In With the Out Crowd," which they recorded with Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Hoobastank) and released in May, leading Alternative Press to dub it "One of the Most Anticipated records in 2006." The current single, "Rest of My Life," was officially added to FUSE's Oven Fresh and is currently in rotation. Lead singer Chris was guest host on Daily Download during this year's Warped Tour.

"People have preconceived notions that Less Than Jake is a ska/punk band -- that we're wacky and silly," says drummer and bandmouth piece Vinnie. "That is one side of the band when we're onstage, but we have another side. We can jump outside the box of what people expect, which is what this record is: over-amplified Less Than Jake."
