Hyperion Brookfield Announces Formation of High Yield Investment Team

Hyperion Brookfield Asset Management, Inc. ("Hyperion Brookfield") is pleased to announce the formation of its High Yield Investment Team. Joining Hyperion Brookfield as Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of the High Yield Team is Dana E. Erikson. Mr. Erikson has 19 years of industry experience and was with Evergreen Investments for the past 10 years, most recently as Head of the High Yield Group and portfolio manager for multiple open-end and closed-end mutual funds. Also joining as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager is Richard M. Cryan. Mr. Cryan was with Evergreen Investments for the past 14 years, most recently as Head of the Institutional and Separate Account High Yield business. He has been in the high yield markets for 26 years.
Mark Shipley has joined the group as Director, High Yield Credit Research. Mr. Shipley brings 16 years of industry experience, and most recently was a Director and Senior Analyst with Evergreen Investments' High Yield Group. Mr. Shipley is primarily focused on the auto, chemical, energy, and transportation industries. Alicia Heslop, whose primary areas of focus are the aerospace & defense, gaming, lodging & leisure and consumer industries, has joined the group as Director, High Yield Credit Research. Ms. Heslop has over 16 years of investment experience, and was most recently a Director and Senior Analyst with Evergreen Investments. John G. McManus, Jr. has also joined the team as Director, High Yield Trading. Mr. McManus was with Evergreen Investments as Head Trader, High Yield Group, since 1990. He has been in the industry for 14 years.
The team will be located in Boston.
