Elluminate, Inc. Named One of the Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program
Market Wire, September, 2006
Elluminate, Inc. has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50, the annual program which recognizes excellence, innovation and the fastest growing tech companies in Canada. Rankings are based on percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2001-2005.
Elluminate's CEO, Nashir Samanani, credits the company's sizeable growth from 2001-2005 to its expanding presence in the live web collaboration market, both in the U.S. and internationally. The company has experienced an explosive increase in sales of its flagship web conferencing software, Elluminate Live!.
"We're pleased to be recognized by Deloitte in the Technology Fast 50 list," said Samanani. "In the past five years, Elluminate has developed award-winning technology to meet the widespread needs of schools and companies throughout the world. This inclusion in the Technology Fast 50 list is recognition of our demonstrated ability to innovate and sustain growth. Our focus continues to be on bringing relevant innovation and high value to our customers. The last five years have provided a solid foundation on which to continue our company's breakthrough success in the live collaboration field and we are excited for the tremendous future opportunity that now exists. As a result, we fully expect to continue to have growth rates that outperform the industry."
Elluminate's increase in revenues of 5,063 percent from 2001-2005 resulted in a No. 10 ranking overall in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Fast 50 for this region was 4,954 percent.
"Sustaining high revenue growth over five years is an exceptional accomplishment. We commend Elluminate for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity," said John Ruffolo, National Leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte. "We are proud to honor Elluminate as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Winner."
