Symantec Offers Webcast on Data Center Management

Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced it will host a webcast outlining the Data Center Management Group's technology portfolio and product initiatives. The hour-long webcast will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006 at 9 a.m. PT.
Kris Hagerman, group president, Symantec's Data Center Management Group, will lead the webcast. The presentation will include a discussion on evolving customer needs around protecting their IT infrastructure and ways of reducing complexity while driving down IT costs. The prepared remarks will be followed by a question and answer session.
This is a Web teleconference, with audio available by phone and slides available through a Web conferencing platform.
