Sionna Investment Managers Forms New Retail Strategic Alliance with Brandes Investment Partners

Kim Shannon, President and Chief Investment Officer, Sionna Investment Managers ("Sionna"), and Maureen Farrow, Chair & COO, today announced a strategic alliance with Brandes Investment Partners & Co. (Brandes) to build a sustainable long-term retail business. Sionna will remain independent and wholly owned by its senior management team. The firm will continue to manage Canadian equities in a relative value style.
"This is an exciting, unique opportunity for the Sionna investment team," said Ms. Shannon. "Our goal is to do what is in the long-term best interest of our clients and ensuring that our retail business is sustainable and independent is an important part of that."
