International Heat Recovery Systems Manufacturer Nooter/Eriksen S.r.l. Chooses Sikich and Microsoft Dynamics NAV as Its Enterprise Resource Planning Solution
Market Wire, October, 2006
Nooter/Eriksen S.r.l. has entered into a strategic agreement with Sikich, ICS Technology division, to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV (previously Navision) as their overall enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
Nooter/Eriksen S.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary of St. Louis-based Nooter/Eriksen, Inc., is an Italian company that designs and supplies heat recovery steam generators in Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Prior to turning to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, their office operated using their own homegrown systems, including a number of disparate systems which were a drain on resources and an inefficient business model.
In order to achieve efficiency and streamline operations, Nooter/Eriksen S.r.l. chose to consolidate their business software and engage Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Sikich, to implement and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV. By leveraging the full functionality of Microsoft Dynamics NAV they can streamline data entry and analysis, inventory controls, supply chain communications, reporting abilities and many other key functions.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV presents information within a familiar Microsoft Outlook-style interface and provides easy-to-use tools that allow all users in the organization to perform dynamic analysis and reporting across all areas of their business.
As an international company, it is important that their solution supports multilingual, multicurrency functionality. With Microsoft Dynamics NAV, multiple currencies are acknowledged throughout the solution for a variety of application areas, including payables and receivables, general ledger reports, bank accounts, and resource/inventory items. Microsoft Dynamics NAV also makes it easier to run a multilingual company that meets the needs of customers, vendors, and employees while adhering to Italian laws of business. The Multilanguage functionality in Microsoft Dynamics NAV allows Nooter/Eriksen S.r.l. to select the language in which it communicates with customers, partners, and other business contacts.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV is designed to help midsize companies integrate financial, manufacturing, distribution, customer relationship management, e-commerce data and other key functions. A complete and customizable business management solution, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is ideal for companies with unique business processes and specialized needs.
