Endicia(TM) Announces the Availability of PictureItPostage(TM) at Apple(TM) Retail Stores and the Apple Store Online
Market Wire, October, 2006
Endicia, the largest distributor of PC Postage by volume in the United States, announced today that PictureItPostage(TM) software is available for sale at Apple retail stores and at the Apple Store online. PictureItPostage lets consumers and businesses create customized postage using their own photos, business logos and graphics. The software, which was called "a joy to use" by macHome Magazine, comes with thirty First Class 1-ounce PictureItPostageStamps(TM) bundled into the retail purchase price.
"This provides consumers and businesses with a new way to learn about and purchase customized postage," says Mark Delman, Vice President of Marketing for PictureItPostage. "It also makes it easier to give PictureItPostageStamps as a gift because the software purchase price includes the cost of thirty PictureItPostageStamps. Essentially, this allows the gift-giver to pre-pay the gift-recipient's first order."
PictureItPostage for Mac version 2.2 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4 or higher and lets consumers create customized postage with the speed and convenience offered by a desktop application. Users can select a desired image or graphic from their iPhoto(TM) library, or any other folder on their Macintosh, and then design and purchase postage in denominations from post card rate ($.24) to Priority Mail ($4.05). PictureItPostage software is versatile, intuitive, and simple to use on a Mac. It fully integrates with iPhoto including smart albums and Photocasts(TM) and users with iSight(TM) cameras have the option to take photos and instantly turn those photos into postage.
PictureItPostage for Mac provides tools that make it easy for users to edit and enhance their postage designs. Users can edit their images and graphics with crop and zoom tools. They also have the option to choose either a vertical or horizontal orientation for their postage and can adjust the text and background colors to match or complement a color in their logo, graphic, or picture.
PictureItPostage retails for $29.95 and includes the following:
-- PictureItPostage software CD
-- Users Guide
-- A coupon good for 10% off any purchase at the Endicia store, up to $50
in total discount.
-- Authorization code with a value of $29.95 -- enough for 30 First Class
1-ounce ($.39) PictureItPostageStamps and delivery of the postage sheets to
the consumer's address via First Class U.S. Mail.
After consumers use the authorization code, the software can still be used to buy additional sheets of PictureItPostage at any time. Consumers simply pay for the additional orders with a credit card.
PictureItPostage is available at most of the Apple U.S. Retail Stores and through the Apple on-line store. A full list of locations is listed on the PictureItPostage web site. ( www.pictureitpostage.com )
