ABM Turns to IBM for Global IT Infrastructure and Transformation

ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE: ABM), a leading building services company, has signed a 7-year, over US$100 million strategic outsourcing agreement with IBM. IBM (NYSE: IBM) will provide a broad range of services, including managing ABM's IT infrastructure and the development of innovative new services to better serve ABM's employees and customers.
The services that IBM will provide include data center, server, network and workstation operations, as well as help desk and applications management and support.
"Taking advantage of IBM's expertise, ABM expects to be able to improve its level of service as well as save a considerable amount of money," said Cathie Beadel, ABM's CIO. "In addition, we will be partnering with IBM to develop future application improvements which will enable us to provide new services to our customers."

The agreement went into effect on October 1st.
