The series, which started October 25 in Denver and then travels next to Chicago November 1, then on to San Francisco and New York City in February 2007, is aimed at IT auditing and compliance executives, security professionals and C-level executives responsible for compliance and data protection.
The seminars are intended to raise awareness about industry best practices for protecting sensitive data such as corporate financial data, personal identity, Intellectual property, and customer cardholder data. Presenters will also identify key steps to achieve compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GLBA, HIPAA the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Standard, and data privacy laws such as California's SB1386 and the 33 related state laws.
