Man Investments Canada Corp. Becomes Manager of the Man Multi-Strategy 'Canada' Fund

Man Investments Canada Corp., a subsidiary of the Man Investments' division of Man Group plc, announces that it has assumed the role of the successor manager to the Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund from BluMont Capital Corporation. The Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund was previously known as the BluMont Man Multi-Strategy Fund until November 29, 2006 when Man Investments Canada Corp. assumed management of the Fund.
The Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund is a multi-manager, multi-strategy fund of funds product that aims to deliver double digit annual returns, portfolio diversification through low correlation to traditional investments.
The Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund is modeled upon the original Man Multi-Strategy Guaranteed Limited Fund which has a six-year proven track record with an annualized net return of 9.4% from July 15, 2000 through October 31, 2006. The Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund offers investors the potential for diversification by obtaining exposure to diverse and lowly correlated alternative investment strategies that can be categorized into six broad styles - managed futures, arbitrage, fund of hedge funds, equity hedge, long/short equities and directional.
Man Global Strategies, a UK-based division of Man Investments Ltd. and one of Man's core managers, will continue to be responsible for the investment management of the portfolio. This division manages over USD 15 billion globally (estimated as of September 30, 2006).

The Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund is available to individual and institutional investors. Accredited investors can access the Man Multi-Strategy (Canada) Fund with a low investment minimum of CD$25,000.
