Stock Market Alerts is continuing its coverage on Axis Technologies Group Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AXTG), as positive news continues to pour out! If you have taken the company off of your radar screen, put it back on now, and watch it like a hawk. Yesterday after the markets closed, the company, whose patented product continues to gain wide-spread acceptance, issued a press release announcing that it has signed on as an affiliate member of the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC).

This is more great news for the company! The Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) Ballast is now on display at the CLTC's facility on the campus of the University of California Davis. Axis Technologies and the CLTC will work together to expand the awareness of the emerging technology of the Axis simplified daylight harvesting system. The partnership opportunities will include field test projects, in house research and development, and technology training.

The CLTC's mission is to stimulate the application of energy-efficient lighting by facilitating technology development and demonstrations, and offering outreach and education activities in partnership with electric utilities, lighting manufacturers, lighting professionals, and governmental agencies. The CLTC was established through a joint effort by the California Energy Commission and the University of California, Davis.

"I'm very excited about working together with the CLTC," said Brian Bowman of Axis. "I think we're a perfect fit for each other. Axis has the right product for the emerging daylighting opportunities, and the CLTC has the commitment to proving new technologies and accelerating their integration into the energy market. Michael Siminovitch, director of the CLTC, and Konstantinos Papamichael, assistant director, have been involved with research related to daylighting and daylight harvesting for many years. I have found their experience and insight to be a tremendous value for us. The CLTC will help us to make the best product for the market needs, and to work together with utilities, energy agencies, and facilities to get the Axis DDH Ballast out there reducing energy and peak demand in California, and throughout the nation," he added.

Axis Technologies recently participated with the CLTC in the third annual Lighting Forum at the UC Davis campus. The Lighting Forum brought together representatives from the California State Universities, Universities of California, State General Services Administration, California Department of Transportation, and the United States Navy to share current energy efficiency opportunities, research results, new developments, and manufacturer contacts.

Stock Market Alerts continues to maintain coverage on Axis Technologies Group as the company's patented product continues to explode on the scene! Last week the company reported that American Apparel, the nations largest garment factory, has included the Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) ballast system as part of a recent lighting upgrade of their downtown Los Angeles Factory.

In that press release, Kip Hirschbach, CEO of Axis Technologies Group, Inc., stated: "We are creating quite a buzz as more and more high profile agencies and facilities like American Apparel utilize Axis products. We are truly achieving brand recognition as the concept of daylight harvesting and the name Axis become synonymous."
