MphasiS Healthcare Solutions Launches HEALTHpac Fusion, a Complete Health Benefit Management System Featuring Fixed Software Pricing & Streamlined, Amortized Conversion Services
Market Wire, January, 2007
Leveraging the 25 years of stability and success of the HEALTHpac platform, combined with the global technology expertise of EDS, MphasiS Healthcare Solutions today announced its launch of HEALTHpac Fusion, a total package solution for healthcare TPAs of all sizes. The bundled software offering is available for purchase or ASP with a fixed price model designed for streamlined implementation, conversion, project management and training with the twin benefits of affordability and risk reduction.
"We had a very short timeline when converting from TriZetto's QicLink to HEALTHpac, so we looked for a partner we could trust to deliver first-rate plan building and ensure a seamless conversion," says Dan Riston, CEO of DGA, a Pennsylvania-based TPA. "Thanks to the dedication and expertise of the MphasiS Healthcare team, we went live in less than three months and never looked back!"
"Because of our migration competencies and extensive experience, we are able to offer our customers this complete, low-cost, total package solution that is positioned to provide the lowest total cost of ownership," states Siva Namasivayam, Office of the CEO, MphasiS Healthcare Solutions, a provider of health benefit management and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. "HEALTHpac Fusion enables healthcare payers to minimize the capital outlay for hardware, software, conversions and infrastructure changes -- without taxing internal personnel and risking disruption of day-to-day operations. This is going back to the basics -- TPAs and Payers simply want to understand what it would cost to implement a new system and how long it would take to do it. In addition, they want good customer service. HEALTHpac Fusion takes cost overruns out of the equation and ensures peace of mind with our reputation for high quality customer service."
PRODUCT FEATURES
The HEALTHpac Fusion solution consists of all major HEALTHpac software and service capabilities, including several new HEALTHpac products:
-- Core HEALTHpac Claims and Workflow
-- HIPAA/X-12 Manager (HIPAA / X-12 compliance)
-- CSIpac Call Tracking (customer service data management)
-- WEBeci (customized payer website for benefit queries & resolutions)
-- CASEpac (case management)
-- ADMINpac (billing, accounts payable & receivable management system)
-- CDHpac (consumer-directed healthcare account management)
-- Roadrunner Reporting (real-time publishing and report scheduling)
-- All Available Application Program Interfaces (APIs)
"HEALTHpac Fusion's system logic simplifies plan building with the capability to achieve very high first-pass auto-adjudication rates -- up to 90% -- resulting in improved service and reduced operational overhead," says Namasivayam. "Clients with unique individual and/or group billing requirements will benefit from the flexibility to quickly accommodate a multitude of products. Consumer-driven or high deductible plan needs are also easily met with the fully integrated CDHpac module. Finally, our latest e-report application, Roadrunner, provides the sophisticated development and online drill down analytics that rival the capabilities of the nation's largest carriers."
PRICING
The new, transparent price model for HEALTHpac Fusion includes implementation, conversion, project management and training. The conversion commences with a 25% deposit, with the remainder of the cost to be amortized over three years. For example, the pricing for a TPA with 20,000 employee lives starts at $24,000 down for ASP, which includes conversion, implementation, training and a specified number of plans. The total cost for three years would be approximately $96,000, which includes 30 master plans in addition to the economical, ongoing PEPM (per employee per month) costs. The competitive pricing of HEALTHpac Fusion is available for ASP, licensing -- PEPM, subscriptions, etc. The ASP data center provides full HIPAA compliance, disaster recovery and system administration services.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
While the HEALTHpac Fusion solution can be easily implemented, clients may also elect to have the MphasiS professional services team quickly and affordably build the customer base plans and corresponding variations. The entire team of seasoned professionals possesses extensive experience with system mapping and migration, workflow re-engineering and automation expertise.
