Former Air Force Space Command Deputy Director of Communications, Col. (Ret.) Andy Anderson, Joins AtHoc as Vice President of Operations in Its Defense Sector

AtHoc, Inc. today announced Col. (Ret.) Andy L. Anderson has joined the company as its vice president of operations for the defense sector. He will oversee the company's continued expansion in the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as direct AtHoc's defense-related business development activities.

Mr. Anderson held numerous positions in the Air Force during his 27-year career. Prior to his retirement, he served as director of logistics and communications for Headquarters Air Force Space Command. He was responsible for all aspects of overseeing and implementing space command control and communication systems. Anderson joins AtHoc from Multimax, where he served as the vice president for Air Force business development.

Mr. Anderson's Air Force career began in 1978 when he was commissioned from the United States Air Force Academy. He has held assignments at the Air Force Communications Command, Air Mobility Command and Air Force Special Operations Command. He served as the director of staff for the Pentagon's communications directorate, and as the executive officer for the senior communications officer at NORAD and U.S. Space Command. He attended Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, Armed Forces Staff College and Air War College, and earned two Master of Science degrees while on active duty.
