Cary FitzGerald Joins Adomo as Vice President of Engineering and Product Management

Adomo Inc., a leading provider of advanced messaging solutions for the enterprise, announced today that Cary FitzGerald has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering and Product Management. As a key architect of VoIP products for Cisco, FitzGerald brings extensive unified communications and enterprise mobility experience to Adomo.

FitzGerald spent the last eleven years at Cisco, most recently leading the development of Cisco's service provider voice products. As Chief Architect of the Broadband Subscriber Access Business Unit (BSABU), FitzGerald was responsible for a number of industry leading products including the BTS 10200 softswitch, the widely deployed PGW 2200 PSTN signaling gateway, and CSCP, Cisco's emerging IMS product. Previously, FitzGerald led an architecture team responsible for all of Cisco's voice products. He was principal designer and development lead for Cisco's IOS Voice Gateway team and shipped the first commercially available VoIP router in 1997 winning numerous industry awards and contributing to IETF and ITU standards for VoIP. Earlier in his career, FitzGerald was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at Bell Labs where, among many projects, he was an architect and developer for AT&T's voice mail/voice response system.
