Ericsson to provide managed services to Mobistar in Belgium

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has been selected by Belgian operator Mobistar, member of the France Telecom group, for a managed services cooperation. About 150 employees are to be transferred from Mobistar to Ericsson.
Within the agreement Mobistar has chosen Ericsson to manage parts of its network activities in the course of 2007. The 5 year agreement is expected to be in commercial operation from the second quarter of 2007 and has a value of approximately EUR 300 million. The finalization of KPIs within the managed services agreement is ongoing.

Once implemented, the agreement will enable Mobistar to lower operational expenses and focus on further improving its position in the Belgian telecommunications market, while Ericsson will provide top-quality network performance to Mobistar customers.
