Market Wire, February, 2007
Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced that customers and partners, including Western Union, EPCOR Utilities and General Dynamics, would reveal their BPM strategies, successes, and best practices at this year's Gartner Business Process Management Summit: From Process Understanding to Business Innovation, February 26-28, 2007, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.
On Tuesday, February 27, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Harbor Island Ballroom III, EPCOR Utilities, General Dynamics, Western Union, and other BPM practitioners will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Janelle Hill, vice president, Gartner Research titled "Achieving Process Excellence with BPM." The panel discussion, hosted by Fujitsu, will center on best practices developed, lessons learned, and approaches to creating a BPM Center of Excellence.
Following the panel discussion, from 4:35 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Harbor Island Ballroom III, Dr. Olutoyin Oduwole, vice president, systems development, Western Union, will present a case study on "Achieving Process Excellence with BPM." Western Union will discuss the challenges that the company faced prior to choosing a BPM solution and the benefits that this global leader in money-transfer services envisions from deploying Fujitsu Interstage Business Process Manager.
In Booth #19, Fujitsu will demonstrate the latest version of its industry-leading BPM Suite, Interstage® Business Process Manager, which brings business and IT professionals together to design, simulate, automate, analyze, and optimize business processes. The company will also demonstrate CentraSite(TM), the industry's only standards-based SOA registry and repository, which offers greater visibility into -- and promotes better utilization of -- BPM and other SOA assets stored within it.
"The Gartner BPM Summit is an excellent opportunity for business and IT professionals to reach an accord on the goals, tactics, and solutions that will set their organizations on the path to successful BPM initiatives," said Robert Sepanloo, senior vice president of the Enterprise Software and Solutions Group, Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation. "Fujitsu Interstage Business Process Manager and CentraSite are designed to ensure that these groups speak the same language, understand that their goals are identical, and achieve success together."
