Market Wire, February, 2007

Sage Software announced today the availability of the latest version of Sage Fundraising 100 , its donor relationship management solution for medium to large nonprofit organizations. Sage Fundraising 100, version 6.0, includes numerous enhancements, such as a new Directed Giving Campaign module; access to an integrated payment processing solution through the company's Sage Payment Solutions (formerly Verus Card Services); a new adhoc Common Receivables table; new data encryption capabilities; new integration with Microsoft® Outlook's Task and Calendar features; enhanced Grants Management module functionality, including General Ledger (GL) integration with Sage's Sage MIP Fund Accounting and several other Sage Software and third-party accounting systems; and additional ease-of-use enhancements.

"Sage Fundraising 100 makes it easier for our staff to provide high-level service to our 55,000 members," said Alicia Vandermeer, director of annual support for The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), the tenth largest art museum in North America. "New Sage Fundraising 100 features allow us to import data from other service areas, such as telemarketing and online giving, helping us streamline the entire data management process. Sage Software is a tremendous membership partner for our organization."

The new Directed Giving Campaign module, an optional add-on, enables customers to record communications with the donor and disburse funds to the appropriate programs, tracking how the "ask" is progressing from initial request to fulfillment.

"Sage Fundraising 100 is used by some of the most successful fundraising organizations in North America," said Marc Griffin, senior vice president and general manager for Nonprofit Solutions at Sage Software. "The stability, reliability, and functionality of our products are critical for all our customers, and we work closely with them to deliver nonprofit technology solutions that meet their needs. In fact, working together with several of our largest Sage Fundraising 100 customers, we were able to create the new Directed Giving Campaign module to help nonprofits more efficiently and effectively manage those campaigns."

A new, optional integration with Sage Payment Solutions provides nonprofits with a complete payment processing solution right from their Sage Fundraising 100 desktop, helping them to increase both the efficiency of their installment processing and the security of their donors' information.

Sage Fundraising 100's new ad-hoc Common Receivables table contains the combined records for each pledge, gift, event, or membership to give customers easier access to this data for adhoc reports and criteria, while new data encryption capabilities help nonprofits comply with government privacy regulations by storing donors' credit card, Social Security, and bank account information in an encrypted format. New integration to Microsoft's Outlook Task and Calendar features helps Sage Fundraising 100 customers keep their projects and tasks on schedule with optional two-way integration, manual synchronization, and real-time integration.

In Sage Fundraising 100, version 6.0, the Grants Management module now has the ability to interface with a select number of GL systems, including Sage Software's Sage MIP Fund Accounting, Peachtree by Sage and Sage Pro ERP, plus several third-party accounting systems. Additionally, the Grants Management module features an accounts payable (AP) interface with Sage MIP Fund Accounting, allowing for the production of checks for grant disbursements and the import of check information back into the Grants Management module.

A major Sage Fundraising 100 strength is its ease-of-use. "The software's Quick Entry feature enables fast processing of new and renewing members, and the Visit Tracking feature allows us to track on-site visits through barcodes," adds AGO's Vandermeer. "Other easy-to-use functions, like card printing, solicitation manager and membership activity reporting, help users at all levels navigate the system."

Sage Fundraising 100 features a full suite of integrated modules for effective, in-depth management of sophisticated development programs. Using the donor management software, nonprofits can effectively manage communications and relationships, track contacts and prospects, and manage tributes, events, volunteers, endowments, and more.

For more than 25 years, Sage Software has been helping nonprofit organizations further their missions and better serve constituents through the use of technology by offering Sage MIP Fund Accounting and a range of Sage Fundraising product choices, including Sage Fundraising 50, Sage Fundraising 100, Sage Fundraising 100-Rainbow Edition, Millennium, and Sage Endowment Management, so that nonprofit organizations of all sizes can select solutions best fitting their budget and program needs.
