CompanionLink Software Introduces Site License Pricing for Their Google Calendar Mobile Sync Solution
Market Wire, March, 2007
CompanionLink Software, Inc., a leader in mobile synchronization solutions, announces the availability of corporate and academic site licenses for their CompanionLink for Google Calendar solution. The solution provides two-way calendar synchronization between Google Calendar®, mobile devices and Microsoft Outlook®.
CompanionLink for Google Calendar allows users to synchronize their appointments, recurring events and event details that are stored in Google Calendar with Microsoft Outlook®, PDAs, and phones. The solution supports shared calendars so organizations can take advantage of Google's collaboration features. Two-way data transfer guarantees that users can make changes to their calendar from their computers or directly on their mobile device.
Small businesses, larger enterprises and academic institutions can all take advantage of special multiple user licenses. Pricing is dependent on the type of organization and number of users. For colleges and universities, pricing is based on the number of students, alumni and staff that will be using the solution. CompanionLink will extend licenses to faculty for free. Academic site licenses are heavily discounted and are annual commitments. Pricing for enterprise site licenses for businesses and corporations is discounted in proportion to the number of users. Enterprise site licenses involve a one-time fee per licensed user.
"With site licenses, our solution will enable businesses and universities to affordably roll-out Google Calendar sync to all of their users," says Rushang Shah, Director of Marketing for CompanionLink Software, Inc. "Our partnership with Google reiterates our on-going commitment to supporting users of their revolutionary office productivity solutions."
"Google is excited to have CompanionLink Software as a partner in the Google Enterprise Professional program. We're looking forward to CompanionLink extending Google Apps by providing mobile synchronization solutions to customers," said Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead, Google Enterprise.
Pricing and more information about the solution is available at www.companionlink.com/google-apps . CompanionLink Software extends free and live technical support to all users. The company also provides free software updates that guarantee compatibility with the latest mobile devices and technology.
