Onset Technology Appoints New CEO

Onset Technology, a leading developer of beyond email applications for wireless platforms such as BlackBerry® from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM), announced today the appointment of Avi Koren as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Koren has extensive experience in the US and Asia-Pacific region building market presence and generating record business results in highly competitive markets.

Mr. Koren, with a strong background in electronics research and development, gained considerable experience in senior-level management at Orbotech, a world leader in inspection and imaging solutions for the flat-panel display, printed circuit board and assembled boards industries. His executive positions at Orbotech, a company of over 1,500 employees in over 30 offices worldwide, included responsibilities for customer support sales and marketing. He leaves Orbotech as president of the company's subsidiary.
