Adomo Announces General Availability of Adomo 6.0 for Mobile Unified Communications

Market Wire, March, 2007

VoiceCon -- At VoiceCon Spring 2007 today, Adomo Inc., a leading provider of advanced messaging solutions for the enterprise, announced the general availability of Adomo 6.0. Adomo 6.0, the newest generation of the company's award-winning advanced messaging solution, delivers a unique approach for enterprises -- one that provides users with the 'Wow' benefits of unified communications, and IT departments with an easy migration approach for integrating with their existing infrastructure.

"The migration to IP telephony and Unified Communications is driving significant changes in the way enterprise infrastructure deployment decisions are being made," said Krithi Rao, industry analyst with Frost & Sullivan. "The most important requirements in the evolution of any successful communications technology strategy are flexibility, ease of migration, and business impact. Features such as those available in Adomo 6.0 enable enterprise users, particularly mobile employees, to use voice messaging as a productivity enhancing application and increase their overall communications effectiveness."

Mobility is driving a major market disruption in enterprise communications, and users are frustrated by constraints of existing messaging solutions. Adomo 6.0 provides compelling user features along with easy integration with Microsoft Exchange and existing PBXs. New features of Adomo 6.0 include SmartMobility capabilities that make users more productive and effective, as well as architecture and system management enhancements that expedite and facilitate enterprise deployments for IT departments.

"There are two essential ingredients for the success of any new messaging technology. First and foremost, it must provide tangible benefits to users, the 'Wow' factor, in ways that are easy to understand so they actually use it. Second, it must be easy to integrate into today's complex IT environments -- multi-site, multi-PBX, and Exchange implementations," said Mathew Frazer, President and CEO of Adomo. "Adomo 6.0 is designed to be both user and IT friendly, a combination that has proven to be very difficult for current industry leaders to deliver."

Specific highlights of Adomo 6.0 include:

SmartMobility

Mobile workers operate very differently than their deskbound counterparts. Adomo 6.0 delivers core unified communications capabilities and introduces new features designed to make enterprise mobile messaging more effective:

-- SmartNumber - An improvement on "Find Me/Follow Me" capabilities
enables users to have a single phone number with a "Priority Caller" option
to assure important callers are immediately routed instead of delayed by
    screening and/or sent to voicemail.
-- BlackBerry "Play on Phone" - The majority of BlackBerry devices
currently in use are not capable of playing a voice message attached to an
email. Adomo 6.0's distinctive solution approach lets users select a menu
option on the BlackBerry email client to initiate a telephone call from the
Adomo system to the user's phone to play a message.
-- Messaging Management - Users may easily categorize voice messages for
easy access once stored or for more precisely communicating when attaching
a voice message to an email. Subject line edits clarify and identify
message content, and personal notations improve records and references for
messages that are stored or forwarded to another person or groups of
    people.

System Architecture Enhancements

Many unified communications solutions fail because they are difficult to implement and integrate into existing IT infrastructure. The Adomo 6.0 system architecture is designed specifically for easily integrating into complex enterprise environments, offering unmatched flexibility and low total cost of ownership.

-- PBX Integrations - Support for Cisco Call Manager 5.0 as well as new
PBX certifications for specific models from Nortel and Avaya. Includes
    multiple mailbox configuration support
-- Voicemail Networking - VPIM support to enable networking between Adomo
and an OctelNet-based legacy voicemail network during migration
-- Core O/S updated to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0
-- G.729 voice compression support for low bandwidth mobile environments
-- GUI-based development environment for caller applications creation and
    implementation
-- Clustering support for appliances up to 120 ports for enhanced system
    reliability and availability
-- Full support for time zones: provides flexibility to deploy Adomo
systems and support users in various time zones as needed
-- 12-digit mixed dial plan support

Enterprise Management

Enterprises require a robust set of management tools and capabilities to maximize system effectiveness. Specific enhancements with Adomo 6.0 include:

-- Enhanced security with IPSec support between multiple appliances and
    between appliances and AEC server
-- Increased fault tolerance for message waiting indicators (MWI) and
Active Directory when Microsoft Exchange service is interrupted. Improved
logic limits impact to minimal number of users
-- Automatic update every 2 hours to refresh personal contacts
-- Improved reporting including port usage, locked out mailboxes list,
login failures with reason/time stamp, un-initialized mailboxes list, Admin
audit log, message delivery report (Adomo and VPIM), Outcall logs with
    outcall reasons (per appliance)
-- Remote delegated administration with bounded privileges
-- Expanded Microsoft GAL capacities and support
-- Improved diagnostics including network and PBX integrations
    statistics, and overall system information
