Claritas Releases New Data Delivery Service
Market Wire, March, 2007
Claritas Inc., the premier provider of intelligent marketing information and target marketing services, announced today the release of Claritas Web Services -- a new data delivery service that allows the seamless integration of Claritas marketing intelligence into internal and external applications.
"Operating from server to server, Claritas Web Services automatically embeds Claritas' expertise in market demographics, customer segmentation or business-to-business targeting into a client's internal analytical processes or customer-facing products," explained Jason Norfolk, Claritas Director of Product Management.
Norfolk said the new service offering is an extension of technology that has been in place with select clients over the past year, and was recently adopted by an Internet-based software provider to the multi-unit restaurant and retail industry, named Expesite LLC. Through an agreement with Columbus, Ohio-based Expesite, which offers end-to-end program and project management tools and consulting services, Claritas' rich demographic data will be available through the Expesite system.
"By partnering with Claritas, Expesite users will be able to access demographic maps and reports with a few simple clicks. This will allow clients to obtain real-time data and research, enabling them to make more informed decisions during the site selection and other strategic planning processes," said Angela Pace, Expesite's Vice President of Strategic Integrations.
As for internal use, Norfolk said that a key benefit is that it reduces the data pulling workload for marketing analysts so efforts can be redirected to analysis and planning.
"By integrating Claritas intelligence into internal applications or processes, it will ensure that a marketing team is enabled to make the best decisions, and by integrating the data into external applications, it will enrich the user's experience," Norfolk said.
