Prolifics Wins 2007 IBM Beacon Award for Overall Technical Excellence
Market Wire, March, 2007
Prolifics, a worldwide provider of IBM WebSphere, Portal, SOA, Security and Business Integration solutions, today announced that it has been named by IBM as the winner in the Overall Technical Excellence category of the prestigious and much sought-after Beacon Awards. This award signifies that across all business partners of IBM that were nominated, Prolifics is number one and has demonstrated technology leadership, high levels of skills, quality processes and consistently high customer satisfaction through investment in its technical capabilities.
Prolifics has over 200 technical staff in its firm and boasts the most overall certifications amongst over 300 IBM business partners. In 2007, Prolifics will engage in heavy recruiting to increase its consultancy staff to support a wide-range of new initiatives and engagements across all five of IBM's brands.
"We are honored and proud to have won this year's Beacon for such a highly competitive international award," said Prolifics' CEO Nicolas Jabbour. "Winning the Overall Technical Excellence category is a true testament to the consulting staff here at Prolifics who have found innovative and creative solutions for our clients and have dedicated themselves to rigorous and ongoing training -- raising the bar for the entire industry."
According to IBM, the PartnerWorld Beacon Award is a mark of excellence and innovation. Firms that win this distinction have excelled in delivering meaningful results and true value to clients. These firms set themselves apart and establish the standard for business excellence. All winners have:
-- Invested in the technical skills and capabilities necessary to deliver
high quality solutions to satisfied customers
-- Been recognized by customers and the marketplace for their robust
application or solution design and development processes and skills
-- Implemented solution design and assurance processes that maximize the
customer's investment while ensuring that business needs are met
-- Applied the highest standards to the management of technical skills
and processes, from project management, through to implementation, through
to the active management of customer satisfaction
-- Invested in the use of innovative technologies and tools to provide
leading edge solutions and support
Beacon Award winners will be honored in April during a special awards ceremony held at the IBM PartnerWorld Conference in St. Louis. IBM PartnerWorld is the world's largest gathering of IBM Business Partners, attracting several thousand attendees.
