Liquid Machines to Discuss Encryption and Content Protection Technologies at Chicago SecureWorld Expo
Market Wire, April, 2007
Liquid Machines, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Rights Management (ERM) solutions, today announced that Brian Guild, Technical Sales Engineer, and Tom Howe, Midwest Sales Director, will join industry experts on two panel discussions at this week's Chicago SecureWorld Expo, taking place on April 24-25, 2007 at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center (Hall G) in Chicago, IL.
At the show, Guild will participate in the panel:
-- "Start Encrypting Now, The Lawyers Are Coming!" which will take place
on Tuesday from 1:15-2:00 pm CDT
Howe will participate in the panel:
-- "Stop The Leakage: Content Protection - How Is It Done?" which will
take place on Wednesday from 12:45-1:30 pm CDT
Guild and Howe will examine recent high-profile, high-cost data breaches -- looking at the resulting implications on information security, including the critical factors driving the market, the role of the legal system and future products and solutions. Participants will discuss what enterprises can do to safeguard sensitive information and intellectual property and to keep their company from being cast in the public spotlight for poor security practices.
"The need for effective information security technology has existed since the advent of the personal computer," says Guild, "begging the question why so many catastrophic breaches of critical customer data continue to appear in headline after headline. There is no way to completely prevent human error in data leakage, meaning that we as an industry need to come up with security solutions that can withstand those errors and prevent theft and unauthorized access."
Liquid Machines will be exhibiting in booth #66 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm CDT on Tuesday and from 9:00-2:30 pm CDT on Wednesday. At the booth, company representatives will be offering a prize giveaway, in addition to showing real-world examples of ERM in action.
Guild will also be giving a technical demonstration on Tuesday from 10:20-10:35 am CDT at booth #3, as a part of the Chicago SecureWorld Expo's "Fifteen Minutes of Fame - Vendor Product Demonstrations" program.
Liquid Machines is a Luncheon Sponsor at this event, sponsoring the Conference Movie Trivia Challenge called "Get Your 'Geek' On: Security Goes to the Movies." For more information on the Chicago SecureWorld Expo, or to register, please go to: http://www.secureworldexpo.com/
