Blackboard Wins Platinum and Gold in eLearning Guild Members Choice Awards for Learning Management Systems

Blackboard Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBB), a leading provider of enterprise learning technology, is pleased to announce that the recently published "2007 eLearning Guild 360-Degree Research Report on Learning Management Systems" has identified Blackboard as the recipient of two Members Choice Awards for Learning Management Systems. Blackboard received the Platinum Award in the Market Share Category for Education and Government Learning Management Systems. The Platinum Award goes to the top performer in each category. Blackboard was also awarded the Gold Award in the Satisfaction Category for Education and Government Learning Management Systems. The Gold Award is given to the other top performer(s) in each category.

Awards were based on data collected from The eLearning Guild members, with over 2,300 respondents contributing to market data and 1,200 respondents contributing to satisfaction ratings. The report identified Blackboard with strong results in areas including vendor responsiveness, learning and implementation curve, and cost benefit.
