Buzz Launches Online Ad Server to Compete With Google and Yahoo!
Market Wire, May, 2007
Buzz Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BZTG) has announced the release of its own online ad server/ad market place to directly compete with Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Double-Click in the advertising sector and is the first technology of its type to be released by an Asian-based company. Many of the Large Companies are having a great deal of difficulty establishing their operations here in Asia and Buzzbizz certainly has an advantage in that area. A number of Patents and Copyrights are currently in the process of being lodged in relation to this and other technology.
The product has been on site www.12buzz.com and Beta tested over the last month; it offers text, banner, interactive, browser, toolbar and embedded application advertising. Also, in a radical departure from competitors, Buzz can offer publishers a choice in the type of products advertised on their site; this also offers advertisers a better audience through selection, rather than the competitor's arbitrary placements.
Buzz is also set to take particular advantage in Asia; market leaders in this sector with revenue approaching $10b have had and continue to have legislative difficulties in China, Thailand and other Asian Countries (home of 47% of the world's Internet traffic) and a number of sites have been blocked throughout the region. Buzz has a good and ongoing relationship with the legislative bodies in the prime Asian markets.
Buzz has also started a number of new developments, many of which are visible on site, including Assisted Online Shopping (as a way to drive online sales in Asia), an Information Exchange, Assisted Online Travel and its own free integrated messaging/email service that is Wireless, VoIP, Video and Text/SMS enabled.
Our outsourcing Portal will go public in the coming weeks allowing us to at least triple IT service Sales.
Traffic to the site has increased in excess of 3,000% in the last 90 days with Buzz being approximately the 50,000th most visited site on the Internet, 15,000th in the USA according to Alex and the Approx 1,000th most visted site in Thailand according to True hits. Traffic in the USA, Germany, India, Hong Kong and Brazil has also surged in recent months.
