VIRA, Tyco and Impart Will Showcase 'The Interactive Infocenter' at Digital Signage Expo

Market Wire, May, 2007

Digital Signage Expo (DSE), Booth #1113 -- Impart Media Group, Inc. (OTCBB: IMMG), a global provider of end-to-end information networks, transactional kiosks, digital signage solution, and direct-to-consumer advertising, with VIRA Manufacturing, Inc., a turnkey manufacturer and worldwide installer of custom store fixtures and integrated electronic systems for retail and commercial venues, and Tyco Electronics Corporation, a leading global provider of engineered electronic components, network solutions and wireless systems, announced today they will be showcasing, 'The Interactive Infocenter' at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE), Chicago, May 16-17 in Booth #1113.

'InfoCenter' -- designed, engineered, fabricated, assembled, and market distributed by VIRA -- is also being sold with customized surround for the retailer or brand. The differentiating breakthrough in 'InfoCenter' enables shoppers to obtain all relevant product information including price point and inventory status of virtually any item via the use of RFID sensors attached to in-store merchandise. Customers can now physically sample the product as they view and interact with the 'InfoCenter' large format touch screen.

'InfoCenter' operates as a self-serve amenity and virtual sales person for the in-store customer. When a shopper picks up any tagged product, the wireless RFID sensors will trigger product specific or relevant information on the screen, via Tyco's SyncSeer(TM) and Impart's IQ(TM) Interactive system devices.

Touch Screen navigation allows the customer to view related products, special promotions, price points and current inventory levels all in real time. Split screen format permits digital signage to deliver demographically specific product information to individual store locations as well as employee training information. Additionally, user data from the handling of all sampled products with screen interaction is tracked and stored.

Features and benefits of 'The Interactive InfoCenter' modular system include:

-- RFID Product I.D. Recognition
-- Multi-level Touch Screen Navigation
-- Data Collection
-- Passive RFID Tags
-- Triggered Screen Activation
-- Fully Scalable to an infinite number of SKUs
-- Impart IQ Interactive(TM) Media Player
-- Offline, Impart IQ mini(TM) with Compact Flash Storage Option
-- Tyco Electronics SyncSeer(TM) Near Field RFID Hardware and Software
-- Various Sized, LCD Monitors Are Available

According to VIRA's senior vice president of sales engineering, Alan Rabinowitz, "The market reaction to 'Interactive InfoCenter' has been nothing short of astounding. The very competitive retail industry is knocking down our doors for this innovative merchandising solution. Major brands and specialty retailers in the U.S. and Asia are seeking in-store information and customer support solutions that encourage sampling of products, provide for targeted or relevant message reinforcement, and are measurable to the point-of-purchase."

Mr. Rabinowitz continued, "Our special relationships with Tyco and Impart have only emboldened our domestic and international marketing efforts, as Impart's impressive depth with interactive and transactional digital signage, coupled with Tyco's engineering excellence and VIRA's attractive design integration of our store fixturing line with the Impart IQ(TM) platform, creates a winning troika. I am expecting 'four digit' unit sales for the 'The Interactive InfoCenter' -- between now and through the start of the holiday shopping season this November -- as this product has industry disruptive value with proven in-store impact."
