WebSphere Message Broker Extender for TIBCO RV provides TIBCO RV message handling capability, enhancing IBM WebSphere Message Broker beyond IBM WebSphere MQ messaging into a more complete brokering solution.

WebSphere Message Broker Extender for TIBCO RV, consisting of a tool set of plug-in nodes, provides Message Broker the ability to subscribe and publish TIBCO RV Messages for TIBCO RV reliable and certified messaging. This approach is unique to WebSphere Message Broker because most alternative solutions are based on more complex and functionally limited adapter frameworks. By using WebSphere Message Broker Extender for TIBCO RV, Message Broker can handle incoming TIBCO RV messages directly using the input nodes, without having to convert the data into WebSphere MQ messages, and place them on a WebSphere MQ input queue to drive the message flow. Similarly, the message broker can handle publishing TIBCO RV messages directly using the output nodes.
