Aperto Announces Expansion of India Operations and Inaugurates New Bangalore Office

Aperto® Networks, builder of the world's most advanced WiMAX base stations and subscriber units for fixed, portable, and mobile applications, today announced that it has significantly expanded its offices in Bangalore, India. The new facility is almost four times larger than the company's previous regional headquarters and will house teams in engineering, marketing, and customer service for India and the global market. Aperto now has two subsidiaries in India to support its engineering, sales, and marketing efforts.

Aperto's PacketMAX line of products includes three base stations (the multi-sector PacketMAX 5000 and the single sector PacketMAX 3000) and three subscriber units (PacketMAX 300, PacketMAX 505, and PacketMAX 100).
In addition to being the industry's highest density base station, the PacketMAX 5000 is also the only carrier grade base station that can support and operate both the IEEE802.16-2004 and IEEE802.16-2005 WiMAX standards simultaneously.
