Crooner Brian Evans Singing "Witchcraft" for the "Big Shots" on ABC

Market Wire, May, 2007

Brian Evans, the young crooner that has been performing as the opening act for Jay Leno in Las Vegas (among other headline acts), has signed a contract with Warner Bros. Television that will allow his rendition of the popular standard "Witchcraft" to be aired on the "Big Shots" pilot starring Dylan McDermott.

Evans is currently working on his major-label debut.

Evans and fellow crooner Michael Bublé both played the very same nightclub in Vancouver.

Evans recently made the move to Los Angeles after spending seven years in Las Vegas, a run that brought him critical accolades and even a proclamation by the Mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar Goodman.

"Obviously, I'm thrilled to see LA take notice of the work I've done, but I'm just getting started and can't wait until this new CD is done," says Evans.

Eight of the 12 tracks Evans will record for the new CD were penned by him.

"That's what will separate me from the other guys. I'm not just singing other people's songs, which were recorded dozens of times before them. Let's face it, no one can ever sing Sinatra better than Sinatra, even to this day."

On another interesting note, Evans will visit Africa in August and will spend the day with Sir Richard Branson after winning an auction to benefit charity. Evans won the auction with a $21,100 bid.

MySpace is www.myspace.com/brianevansonline

IMDB now lists Evans under the "Big Guys" production as well under its "Soundtracks" section.
