Universal Detection Technology Establishes Value Added Reseller Program

Universal Detection Technology ( www.udetection.com ) (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and a provider of counter terrorism training and solutions, today announced the launch of the UDTT Value Added Reseller (VAR) program. The UDTT VAR network of highly select nationwide resellers will significantly extend the availability of UDTT Bio-detection and security products, support programs and services to end users.

The UDTT VAR program will increase the accessibility of the BSM-2000, Portable Anthrax Detection System, and Bio-detection kits to existing and potential customers nationwide.

"Since we have expanded our product base we have been looking to market our bioterrorism detection technologies to municipalities and local law enforcement and security officials," said Jacques Tizabi, CEO of Universal Detection Technology. "UDTT's VAR network is expected to increase exposure for UDTT's anthrax detection kits and real-time autonomous anthrax detection systems," he added.

Universal Detection Technology has co-developed a real-time Anthrax detection system, called BSM-2000, with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. UDTT recently initiated research for development of a portable Anthrax Detection System for use in mail rooms.
