CIBT and IATA Launch Joint Passport and Visa Fulfillment Service

National Association of Business Travel -- CIBT ( http://www.cibt.com ), the world's largest provider of visa and passport services and IATA, the International Air Transport Association ( http://www.iata.org ) representing 250 of the world's largest airlines, completed an arrangement allowing users of IATA's Timatic Web and Travel Centre offerings to verify and use CIBT's visa and passport fulfillment service at preferential rates.

For over 60 years, Timatic has been used by the entire aviation industry to provide passengers with personalised passport, visa and health regulations and advice. "Traditionally we provide advice to passengers on their documentation requirements, and now by teaming with CIBT we can also facilitate obtaining them," said Alan Murray Hayden, Product Manager at IATA.

"When a passenger is informed on the Timatic Web or IATA Travel Centre sites that they need a visa or a new passport, they can click through to the CIBT site to download the actual forms and instructions that must be completed to secure the necessary travel documents for a trip," explained Mr. Diehl. "They can then choose to use the CIBT fulfilment service at a discounted rate exclusive to IATA customers," he said.

The program has been active in the United States, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands and will be extended to other countries in the near future. Financial details were not available at time of announcement.
