CruiseCam International Expands Product Line to Include Porsche Vehicles
Market Wire, July, 2007
CruiseCam International Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CCMJ), a leading developer of vehicle-video integrated technology for law enforcement and motor sports applications, announced today that it has expanded its product line to include product availability and functionality for Porsche vehicles.
CruiseCam President and CEO Scott Watkins said, "Porsche owners are some of the most organized and enthusiastic cars owners in today's market, some 50,000 members strong. We are confident that discerning Porsche owners will find the PorschCam a perfect fit with their driving experience."
CruiseCam International has completed R&D for the PorschCam, a vehicle-video integrated camera for the 996, a twin turbo Porsche, with Stage 4 upgrade. To do so, the Company has utilized a fully equipped, in-house Porsche testing vehicle to ensure that the PorschCam survived rugged testing that will ensure years of quality video for Porsche owners worldwide.
Like the CruiseCam VetteCam, PorschCam will provide operators with a driver's view, utilizing an MPEG 4 recording platform storing video to a scandisk memory stick with up to four hours of recording time. Drivers may view video on the 2.25 inch monitor or using Windows Media Player.
The CruiseCam recording system with docking station is lightweight and compact, allowing owners to install and remove the system with ease, leaving no permanent damage to the vehicle's interior. CruiseCam will market the PorschCam directly to the 50,000 member Porsche Clubs of America community, offering club discounts and block purchases.
