The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group Announces July Sales

The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWRG) today announced sales for the fiscal month July 2007.
Comparable consolidated restaurant sales decreased 1.6% to $6.1 million for July 2007, as compared to the $6.2 for July 2006. Comparable consolidated restaurant sales include only units that have been open for 15 months or longer. Total consolidated restaurant sales for the fiscal month ended July 30, 2007 were approximately $7.2 million, an 8.1% decrease from July 2006.
