US Energy Initiatives Launches a Series of Proprietary Electronic Product Technologies; Proposes Name Change to Advanced Technology Solutions

Market Wire, August, 2007

US Energy Initiatives Corp. (OTCBB: USEI) ("US Energy" or the "Company") today announced the development of a series of proprietary electronic technology products to complement the Company's dual-fuel diesel to natural gas conversion systems. The Company has sought to increase the number of products of which USEI is the sole-source provider. The Company also proposed a name change from US Energy Initiatives Corp. to Advanced Technology Solutions to better reflect the Company's technology expansion.

Since 2005 USEI has operated under a development program with General Motors Thailand (GMTh). During June 2007, we announced that GM Asia Pacific has completed the 100,000 kilometer durability test and engine tear down analysis for the Company's dual-fuel C190 Colorado Pickup program. We also reported in June 2007 that GMTh notified the Company that they plan to market the C190 Colorado Pick-up with the Company's patented dual-fuel system through the 49 countries that constitute the Asia-Pac countries. During July 2007 we completed on-site training and reviewed installation, delivery, manuals and other practical matters. We will provide periodic updates to the GMTh roll-out as details become available. In addition to continuing our work with General Motors, we have delivered another five systems to our Chinese licensee for installation and evaluation and we are continuing our five-year program with PSGas.

Our objective with the dual-fuel technology was to validate and deploy the system through an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The acceptance of our dual-fuel technology by the world's largest automotive OEM combined with their intent to market our system throughout the Asia-Pac countries achieves this objective.

"The evolution of our Company, the next step is to expand our family of proprietary technology products," said CEO Phil Rappa. "We have structured our evolutionary growth to maximize our in-house design and prototype capabilities which lead to creation of products with a near term market demand. We are able to design and take new, proprietary electronic products through prototype stage with our existing staff and facilities removing the normal additional over head associated with new technology products. We have selected our family of new products based on the identified needs of a market segment so that we don't experience the delays typically associated with a new technology launch."

During the past six months, the Company has expanded its family of unique technology products of which USEI can act as a sole source provider. The Company's dual-fuel technology provides opportunities in the automotive aftermarket. The new family of electronic technologies will also open the marine, recreational vehicle, studio recording and municipal market segments. The Company's acquisition of USEI's electronic manufacturing subsidiary during June 2006 made available an ability to internally design and manufacture products which USEI believes are patentable and which have immediate market application.

The first product developed exclusively by US Energy seeks to enter the maritime market. All marine vessels registered in US waters must have a distress signal. The new Marine safety product developed by USEI will offer the boating public and all commercial operators an extra margin of safety by making their distress signals visible for distances greatly exceeding what is available today. Mr. Rappa stated that, "We believe this technology will be an order of magnitude greater than competing options in existence today. We are very excited by our evolutionary growth and we will issue further announcements in the coming weeks as we unveil our new family of proprietary electronic technologies."
