Anne-Marie Schaffer Joins Ignited as Senior Vice-President, Media

Ignited, an independent Top 20 LA agency, welcomes Anne-Marie Schaffer as senior vice-president to lead the media team.
Anne-Marie Schaffer joined Ignited from Mediaedge:cia's New York office, where she was managing partner/director, strategic planning. During her tenure at Mediaedge:cia, Schaffer led Cingular Wireless/AT&T's $1 billion media account. While actively involved in developing both national and local programs, including the rebranding of Cingular as "the new AT&T," she made an immediate impact, establishing herself as a lead client contact. Ms. Schaffer has also been instrumental translating econometric insights into real business applications and working closely with Cingular's finance department to develop market prioritization maximizing long-term subscriber profitability.

Prior to joining Mediaedge:cia, Schaffer was responsible for the communications department at Team One, representing such iconic brands as Lexus, Ritz Carlton, Boost Mobile, Infonet and P&G. While at Team One, she led the development of many integrated communication ideas and multiplatform promotion opportunities including the LS430 AMCI campaign that won multiple industry awards. Her team was recognized with four Cannes Media Lion finalist awards for innovative broadcast, digital and event media campaigns. She also played a key role in the growth of agency billings from $110 million to $400 million.
Schaffer's career also includes several years at Rubin Postaer & Associates in Santa Monica, Calif., where she held the position of vice-president & associate media director and managed the regional divisions of the Honda and Acura automotive accounts. She successfully pitched and won new business, including the Los Angeles Kings account.
She started her career at TBWA/Chiat/Day where she was quickly promoted to increasing positions of responsibility working on the Nissan Motor Corporation.
Born and raised in Southern California, Schaffer attended UCLA where she earned a B.A. in History with a business emphasis. While at UCLA, she co-founded the 86th chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and served as a Bruin Belle (official representative of UCLA). She has represented both clients and agencies on many industry panels and presentations and is a participant in industry clubs and events.
