Intacct MAX(TM) to Debut at Salesforce.com's Dreamforce Conference -- Now Available on AppExchange
Market Wire, September, 2007
Salesforce.com's Dreamforce Conference - Intacct, a leader in on-demand financial applications, today announced Intacct MAX(TM) for salesforce.com. Intacct MAX is the first product to bring front and back office systems together by uniting Salesforce's market-leading CRM application with Intacct's best of breed financial management system to provide customers a complete on-demand solution for managing sales from the lead phase through closing a sale, booking an order and collecting payment. Built on the Force.com platform, Intacct MAX will launch at Dreamforce '07, salesforce.com's user and developer conference. A demo is available at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange .
With one-click, Intacct MAX lets users convert an opportunity into a booked sales order. Intacct then takes over implementing rules for billing, revenue recognition and even contract renewals. Invoices are issued at the proper times and shipments scheduled. Inventory and accounts receivable are updated automatically. All relevant customer and order data within Salesforce populates Intacct's financial system of record automatically too, saving time, costs and errors caused by manually re-entering opportunity data. Other key features of Intacct MAX are:
-- Staff productivity is maximized using a single sign-on to a web-based
interface for the combined system.
-- Back-office work flows such as accounting, product and service
fulfillment are triggered automatically from within Salesforce or Intacct.
-- Bi-directional flow of data gives Salesforce users visibility into
customer data previously hidden in back office systems. For example,
payment history, fulfillment status and sales analysis reports can now be
viewed from within Salesforce.
-- Input product records once for sales and accounting needs. Intacct MAX
automatically synchronizes Intacct product records with Salesforce.
"Salesforce addresses the front end of an important business process -- capturing leads and closing orders -- while Intacct handles the back end, including booking the order, fulfillment and actually collecting the cash," said Doug Harr, CIO at Ingres. "By uniting the systems, customers eliminate the manual processes in between that are costly, time-consuming and error-prone. Salesforce.com customers and prospects absolutely should consider Intacct, and vice versa."
"Intacct MAX is a must for any small business that already is loving Salesforce and ready to graduate from entry level bookkeeping systems like QuickBooks® to a real financial management system," said Mike Braun, CEO at Intacct. "It also offers current Intacct customers a fantastic way to leverage their investment by adding Salesforce. We are excited to offer customers a complete solution for their lead-to-cash business process."
"Salesforce and Intacct are a powerful combination for small business customers," said George Hu, Chief Marketing Officer, salesforce.com. "The introduction of Intacct MAX brings together two major business systems and shows off the power of the Force.com platform and AppExchange."
