Market Wire, September, 2007
Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TSX: TZT), a leading producer of high-performance wireless broadband communication systems, achieves the lowest possible price, highest quality and greatest ease of customer installation with its new family of 3.5GHz and 5.8GHz outdoor WiMAX subscriber units based on the 802.16d standard debuting at WiMAX World in Chicago, September 25 to 27 (booth #631).
The product family includes indoor and outdoor versions with a variety of antenna options for either residential or enterprise use, has been designed for easy installation by personnel who have little or no training, and is based on a WiMAX Forum Certified(TM) design.
Tranzeo offers outdoor subscriber units for the 3.5GHz band with 14dBi, 17dBi, and 20dBi antenna options and an indoor version with an integrated 10dBi antenna. Its outdoor subscriber units for the 5.8GHz band come with either 16dBi, 20dBi, or 24dBi antenna options, while its indoor version comes with an integrated 12dBi antenna.
"Our second generation family of subscriber units are aggressively priced to meet the needs of our customers and their business models. Tranzeo's products are the benchmark for the industry and will accelerate the roll-out of global WiMAX networks," explained Jim Tocher, CEO and President of Tranzeo Wireless Technologies, Inc.
The Tranzeo family of indoor and outdoor WiMAX subscriber units can be upgraded and managed remotely and features easy-to-use LEDs to visibly indicate signal strength so that finding the optimal signal is as easy for users as it is with their home Wi-Fi router.
