Exotic Erotic Ball to Be Featured in Upcoming Playboy TV Reality Show
Market Wire, September, 2007
The 28th annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo, the internationally acclaimed Celebration of Flesh, Fetish, and Fantasy, and -- according to E! Entertainment TV -- "The World's #1 Wildest and Sexiest Party," is proud to announce that it will be featured in a new reality TV program produced exclusively for Playboy TV, in co-operation with Playboy.com and Playboy Magazine, entitled, "69 Sexy Things To Do Before You Die." The new Playboy TV production is destined to be the ultimate travel reality series. Three beautiful couples will be sent around the globe over three months to experience the sexiest cities, most romantic resorts, and most erotic adventures on earth -- including a visit to The Exotic Erotic Ball. "69 Sexy Things To Do Before You Die" will be seen by Playboy Television's 20 million subscribers when it is broadcast in early 2008.
The Playboy TV crew will cover the Exotic Erotic Ball next month in preparation for the piece. The 2007 Ball takes place at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on Halloween Weekend, commencing Friday afternoon, October 26, 2007, with the Exotic Erotic Expo, and concluding Saturday night, October 27, with the Exotic Erotic Ball. The 2007 Ball is being produced in association with XFANZ. The "Expo" is a two-day event which begins Friday at Noon, features an entertainment lineup, over 100 exhibits showcasing the latest in exotic fashion, erotic art, adult products, games, websites, and novelties, and is being sponsored by XBiz.com. The "Ball" is arguably the most famous and longest running adult-themed party event of all time.
Through its unique combination of mixing live mainstream musical, burlesque, and circus performances with political irreverence, humorous hijinks, and the outright bizarre -- the Exotic Erotic Ball has delighted and regaled over half a million attendees and participants over its highly acclaimed history. The entertainment is of a seemingly limitless variety -- headline concerts, top DJs, erotic performers, exotic dancers, and wild sideshows fill a large arena, an even larger exposition hall and several smaller themed rooms, covering 6 acres in all. The sets and backdrops are visually dazzling, and the recurring themes include erotic art, exotic fashion, fantasy fetishes, and generally sexy shenanigans. The event always features a plethora of adult stars and there is a large complement of celebrity guests. And the costumes and outfits worn by the 18,000 attendees are colorful, creative, and captivating -- a show in and of themselves.
The Exotic Erotic Ball's Founder and Producer, Perry Mann, says: "Participating in the Playboy TV reality show is an honor. I always love making these lists of the hottest and sexiest events or things to do, but it's extra special when the judge is Playboy -- probably the #1 upscale adult brand in the world."
The Exotic Erotic Ball has pulled out all the stops in 2007 to create the biggest event in its 28 year history. Snoop Dogg will perform live at the Expo on Friday night, October 26th, as part of a benefit performance for The Healing Circle, and other Bay Area charities. Snoop will return the next night as a special guest at the Ball, where he will join Tera Patrick and Danny Bonaduce as judges of the Ball's world famous costume contests. The 3 contest winners will share over $10,000 in cash and prizes, including 4 nights at Mexico's plush Cabo Villa Beach Resort. A customized Spike & Mike's Sick & Twisted Animation Festival will be presented at both the Expo and the Ball, and Spike himself is creating the all-star lineup for the occasion, mixing his favorite erotic classics with his newest never-before-seen shorts.
Musical performances also include the West Coast debut of The Spyderz (the latest rock troupe from Evan Seinfeld, ex-BIOHAZARD frontman and star of HBO's hit series, OZ), rapper Bubba Sparxxx, Peaches, The Charlie Brechtel Band, the Vau De Vire Society, America's favorite house DJ Donald Glaude, and the all-little person tribute band Mini-Kiss.
The 2007 Expo will also feature dancers from Chippendale's, lovely ladies from the newly re-opened Mustang Ranch, gorgeous Dutch Playmate and Fetish Model extraordinaire Ancilla Tilia, panel discussions on First Amendment rights, wine tasting with adult stars, fashion shows, a spiritual oasis with psychic readings and massage, a classic adult cinema, a human petting zoo, and an arts installation of paintings and drawings created by 6 famous artists worldwide with the theme Make Love, Not War.
