Titan Energy Development, Inc. Completes Delivery of 350Kw Back Up Power System to Identix
Market Wire, September, 2007
Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, Inc. delivered a 350Kw diesel engine generator system to Identix, a company that provides secure identification solutions. The generator system was designed to provide immediate back up power for the Identix's data center in case of a power disruption. Stellar Energy is an authorized dealer and service provider for Generac Power Systems in five Midwestern states.
Thomas Black, President of Titan Energy Worldwide, stated, "We are benefiting from an increase in activity in the data and security business segment. Second only to the hospitals and other health care facilities, data centers probably represent the next largest market for our emergency power equipment."
The standby system incorporates a 16 liter diesel engine supplied by Generac Power Systems, Inc. of Waukesha, Wisconsin and was installed outside the building in a sound attenuated weather proof enclosure. The engine generator can run for 24 hours without refueling its 693 gallon double wall fuel tank. The system output is 480 volts and is controlled by an ASCO Power Technologies 600amp automatic transfer switch.
