NextPage(R) Demonstrates Document Retention and Tracking Technology at 2007 ARMA International Conference and Expo
Market Wire, October, 2007
NextPage, a leader in information risk management , today announced that it will demonstrate its award-winning NextPage Document Retention application, including several new features, at the 2007 ARMA International Conference & Expo. NextPage will also provide a live podcast recording station in partnership with ARMA International and a daily survey on key issues related to retention and thorough disposition of electronically stored information. Additionally, NextPage Chief Technology Officer Tom Ngo will speak at the conference on "Document Retention Policies Failing at the Desktop," at 10:00 AM, Monday, Oct 8th. NextPage can be visited during the conference at booth #1823.
"The proliferation of uncontrolled documents at the desktop level has increased legal exposure and multiplied e-discovery costs for businesses, government and other enterprises," said Darren Lee, President and Chief Executive Officer, NextPage. "Giving end users tools like NextPage Document Retention to help them comply with document retention and deletion policies at the desktop will dramatically reduce these exposures and enable companies to more effectively comply with information risk management policies and contractual obligations."
Show attendees will be invited to participate in a poll on policies and practices for document retention and disposition. This daily poll will be compared to last year's results and published on nextpage.com; it will explore the gap between deploying document retention policies and employee compliance with these policies. Those interested in taking part in the daily poll can visit NextPage at booth #1823. Results of the poll will be available after the conference ends at www.nextpage.com/dailypoll .
NextPage and ARMA International will be recording daily podcasts from the show floor with key experts, presenters and vendors regarding document retention and deletion. Podcasts will be available at www.blog.nextpage.com and on the ARMA website at www.arma.org/podcast .

About NextPage
NextPage delivers powerful document tracking services that enable enterprises to manage and control the risk of Microsoft Office documents on the desktop. With the patent pending document-tracking technology, enterprises can securely track the more than 7.5 billion Office documents that are sent as e-mail attachments, stored on users' desktops and removable media, or saved to centralized servers. The NextPage 2 Document Retention service increases document retention compliance, as the only product that lets organizations apply retention policies to versions on the desktop by purging working copies and posting final versions to a central server for archival and lifecycle management.
