Asure Software Announces General Availability of Mobile Asset Management Solution
Market Wire, October, 2007
Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR), a leading provider of workforce management software, today announced general availability of its end-to-end mobile asset inventory and management solution using its product Visual Asset Manager (VAM) as the management tool and Psion Mobile Workabout Pro Hand-Held Barcode scanners as the mobile asset inventory tool.
The solution enables customers to scan all of an organization's assets -- fixed, mobile and IT assets -- using the Psion hand-held scanner. The details of each asset are then uploaded and synchronized with the VAM database, enabling ongoing management, tracking and valuation of those assets.
"We are excited to offer this end-to-end, turnkey solution to our customers," said Nancy Harris, Vice President and General Manager of NetSimplicity, a division of Asure Software. "Coupling VAM with the Psion hand-held barcode scanners provides an automated way for our customers to inventory all of their assets and then manage and track them in an ongoing fashion. Through this solution, we're able to replace what was once a manually intensive inventory and management process with a streamlined cost-effective solution for our customers."
Pricing for the packaged offering, including the hand-held scanner, the VAM software, and the integration software component, starts at $6,000. Optional services to set up and configure the components are available at additional cost.
