Sage Software Announces Discounted Training Opportunities for Accountants' Network Members
Market Wire, October, 2007
Adding additional support for members of the Sage Software Accountants' Network, Sage Software announced today that it is offering a 40% discount on selected Sage Software University classes for Accountants' Network members in the U.S., including instructor-led online courses that qualify for NASBA CPE Credit. The timing of this announcement coincides with The K2 Accounting Software Symposium, for which Sage Software is a platinum sponsor, today at the Georgia Society of CPAs Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
"Our SSAN members are our best advocates. They have spoken, and we listened," said Heather Scarpero, director, Sage Software Accountants' Network. "One of the greatest challenges as a practicing CPA is keeping up with continuing education requirements; with the training discounts now available to our Accountants' Network members, we're making it much more convenient and less expensive for them to stay current and learn more about our products so that they can be well-informed when talking with their clients."
Sage Software University offers a range of courses in Realtime and Anytime formats. Realtime classes, which qualify for CPE credit, are instructor-led online courses that are scheduled at a designated date and time. Anytime Learning courses are pre-recorded training sessions accessed online, 24/7, and are not eligible for CPE credit. Courses are available on a range of Sage Software products, including Sage MAS 90, Sage MAS 200, Sage MAS 500 ERP, Sage BusinessWorks Accounting and Sage PFW ERP; courses for other products will be coming soon.
Small and mid-sized organizations often rely on their accountants for insight and suggestions on how to more effectively manage their businesses through technology, and the addition of these discounted technology training opportunities is just the newest benefit available to Sage Accountants' Network members.
The Accountants' Network offers resources to increase technical competency and help grow an accountant's practice by providing informative communications and resources, product discounts and membership benefits related to the Sage Software family of products. Through the Accountants' Network, accounting professionals also have access to Sage Software products that include accounting and business management software, support services and automatically delivered upgrades and updates, including tax tables when applicable. In addition to software, members receive a complimentary listing in the Accountants' Network member locator.
